MaxAssist is the new name for RecallMax, a dental patient engagement platform that grew out of dental consulting. Its onscreen assistant gives the front desk a prioritized daily action plan: patients due or late for hygiene, unscheduled treatment, missed pre-appointments and short-notice fills. MaxAi scheduling draws on more than a decade of scheduling behavior, and Chart.AI looks for unscheduled treatment in the charts.

The platform also covers reminders and confirmations, two-way texting, online scheduling, digital forms, reputation management, email marketing, practice and enterprise analytics, call coaching and a mobile app. Integrated phones come through a partnership with Mango Voice. Its site shows a 4.7 rating from 225 reviews.

Who it's for: practices that want to keep hygiene schedules full and work recall and treatment lists systematically.

Watch-outs: pricing isn't published (Pro, Enterprise and Platinum tiers). Confirm PMS support, and note the rebrand when searching for reviews.
