Our review

Overjet's Vision AI detects and outlines disease and anatomy on dental x-rays. It holds several FDA clearances: Overjet Dental Assist for measuring bone levels on bitewings and periapicals (K210187, 2021), Overjet Caries Assist for detecting and segmenting caries (K222746), and a 2026 clearance for multi-image caries and charting (K261059).

The company positions the AI beyond the chair: it supports the daily huddle and insurance submissions, and it's pitched on making diagnosis more consistent across providers. Overjet also sells IRIS, its own AI-native imaging software, plus automated insurance verification that it says connects to 1,000+ payers, and Overjet Voice, which came from its December 2025 acquisition of DentalBee. Overjet Voice drafts ambient clinical notes, charts perio and hard tissue hands-free, and drafts referral letters, in English and Spanish.

Testimonials on its site come from DSO leaders, including Jefferson Dental, Aligned Dental Partners and Dental Care Alliance. Those are the vendor's quotes, not our findings.

Who it's for: multi-location groups and DSOs that want standardized, measurable findings, or teams also shopping for imaging software or insurance verification.

Watch-outs: pricing isn't published, and the platform has several modules. Ask for the x-ray AI to be quoted separately from add-ons, and ask for references from groups your size.

Our take: tied with Pearl at 8.8. The choice usually comes down to whether consistency across locations or the chairside moment matters more to you.
