Our review

Diagnocat analyzes intraoral x-rays, panoramic images and CBCT scans. The company says it reports on 40+ conditions in 2D and 60+ in 3D, and that it produces patient-friendly, print-ready reports. The platform also transcribes consultations (Transcriptor), completes dental and perio charts automatically, and connects to the practice's information system, x-ray equipment and intraoral scanners.

In the US, the key fact is regulatory. Diagnocat announced its US launch in October 2025, and its FDA clearance K252934 (January 2026) covers detecting suspected periapical radiolucency on CBCT scans in patients 22 and older. That's much narrower than the full list of conditions the product analyzes, so US practices should ask which findings are cleared for clinical use.

Diagnocat describes a two-week path to go-live: onboarding, connector setup, then a pilot with training on real cases.

Who it's for: practices and specialists that take a lot of CBCT scans and want structured 3D reports and patient visuals.

Watch-outs: check the cleared indications against how you plan to use it. Confirm your US PMS and imaging integrations, and ask about pricing, which isn't published.

Our take: 7.6. The scope is impressive, but the US evidence and track record are still catching up.
